JUNIOR VARSITY
Finally, there will also be some fast Junior Varsity runners competing this weekend as well. The storyline JV runner of the meet is none other than Andrew Brown of Tupelo. The closest anyone has been to them this season is 30 seconds, and we're talking about a 2 mile. And, that closest competitor was in the 10th grade.
Andrew is a very talented runner that I can't wait to see progress down the road, and we could maybe even see another 'Brown Brothers' sweep this weekend...
On the girl's side, although there is no virtual meet, what I do know is that it could be another showdown between Maggie Irwin and Abbey Sanders. Irwin just recently took down Sanders, who was one of the top JV runners in the state. It should be another great battle between these 2 tomorrow, along with Isabella Iles in the mix as well.
